To help ensure that enforcement of environmental laws and policies is effective, the Environmental Cooperation Program builds the capacity of officials, such as prosecutors, investigators, customs inspectors and judges, through training, coordination and technical assistance; assists laboratories and coordinates officials responsible for enforcing laws related to sustainability of fisheries.
